Thank you to the UH Engineering Alumni Association for their recognition of our outreach efforts!

Mars Rover Celebration
This event is UH’s premier educational outreach program that brings hundreds of students ranging from 3rd to 8th grade to the university and spreads the importance of space education. The program excites future engineers and scientists by covering planetary science and aerospace engineering.
The event is staffed and judged by volunteers from UH, NASA, as well as members of AIAA UH.

Beginning of Semester (BOS) Party
The beginning of semester (BOS) party, hosted by the Cullen College of Engineering, attracts hundreds of engineering students each year and serves as an exhibition for the many engineering student groups on campus. Attendees can dine on free food & drinks, pick up a BOS Party tshirt, play games and learn more about all that the engineering program at UH has to offer.

The BOS Party is a great time to showcase and introduce the incoming freshmen and engineering students to AIAA UH.
Chevron Girls in Engineering
Female STEM enthusiasts in grades 4-8 are invited to participate in the Chevron Girls in Engineering event at the University of Houston Cullen College of Engineering. The Cullen College’s award-winning engineering professors and students lead fun, hands-on activities to introduce Houston area girls to the wide and wonderful world of engineering.

Through this event AIAA UH aims to inspire girls to study in STEM fields by teaching the basic of rocketry with model rockets. Girls participating in the event will learn about the different engineering fields and professions and engage with current and former industry leaders.
Clear Lake High School Outreach Event
During the Clear Lake High School Outreach Event, AIAA UH talked to middle and high school students and parents about what engineering is like and how to get started at a young age.
