2019 – 2020 Alumni

Sharlyn Tijerina

Sharlyn graduated in 2019 with a degree in mechanical engineering. She was AIAA UH’s first female president. She also participated in Space City Rocketry Team, and was hired for a position at Boeing upon graduation.

Samar Mathur

Samar graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering in 2019. He was the second president of AIAA UH from 2016-2017, and was chief engineer for Space City Rocketry for the construction and first launch of Oberon.

Daniel Bosquez

Daniel graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering in 2019. He acted as the airframe subteam lead for Space City Rocketry, where he helped to develop the Modular Motor Mount (MMM). Upon graduation he accepted a position at Boeing.

Jalyssa Martinez

Jalyssa graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and took a position with Northrop Grumman upon graduation.

Daniel Kolodziejcyk

Daniel graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering and was AIAA-UH’S 4th president.

Dominic van der Walt

Dom graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and was the project manager for Space City Rocketry. He is now a Masters student at UH studying Mechanical Engineering.
